Mr. Ford, Mr. Ford, Mr. ford

Anyone who knows me knows that I have a (healthy) obsession with Tom Ford, every since he was chief designer at Gucci and YSL I have been a huge fan. Not only is he perfect, he makes beautiful things too. I could rant for ages about him but I don’t think that’s why you’re here.

Lets move on to the foundation. I was lucky enough to be invited to test the range before it launched in Brown Thomas last year so I’ve been in love with it since. It launched a little over a year ago,and the amazing thing is that it launched in only three cities world wide Dublin being one of them. The sad news is that it is only available in Brown Thomas Dublin and now Cork.

Tom Ford believes that makeup and Skincare are powerful tools of transformation. They have the potential to enable a real woman to become as glamorous as she can possibly be. His vision is that any woman, no matter her age or features, can create a complete look in which her individual beauty is amplified and she appears to radiate from within.

Here is a video of the man himself talking about the range

There are two types of foundations in the range, Tom Ford Traceless Foundation SPF 15. This liquid foundation has an extremely lightweight and luminous finish. It has micronised pigments which help you achieve seamless and undetectable coverage. There is an infusing complex which nurtures the skin.

The second and the most popular of the two is the Traceless Foundation Stick, this magic little number is the perfect size to carry with you will not leak in your makeup bag. It’s a multi tasker, it can be used as a foundation from sheer coverage and can be built up to a full coverage and also as a concealer. It has the same vitamin infusing technology that the liquid has so it will not cling to dry patches and will help eliminate them. It is available in 10 shades and costs €70.00. I know it’s expensive but it really is beautiful!
