Great hair is not just for Christmas!

I really don’t get why people don’t buy good shampoo and conditioner for their hair. You don’t have to spend a fortune to get great hair products. But believe me you won’t find them on the shelves of certain German supermarkets. If you use good shampoos and conditioners your hair will look and feel better, it will be stronger and able to cope with styling tools more and your colour will even last longer and be shiny for longer. It really is a no brainier! Of course the more you spend the better results (in some cases!). I’ve picked out some of my favourites that are available for you.

John Freida was a hugely successful international session hair stylist and he started his own hair care products quite a while ago. The brand keeps getting stronger and stronger although available in supermarkets you get professional grade products for a fraction of the cost. My favourite from the range is the Full Repair. It is lightweight and works hard to get your hair ready for manic back combing of the party season! The Full Body Shampoo not only help your hairs health but it also gives you body! There is a conditioner that’s light enough to use daily if needed and then my star product from the range is the Deep Conditioner, the perfect weekly deeply penetrating treatment. They cost €6.31 for both the shampoo and conditioner and the treatment is €7.03. There is alos ranges available for coloured hair, the one for brunettes is mega!
Available nationwide in all good pharmacy’s and supermarkets.

Moroccan Oil has been the product that has really taken the world by storm over the past few years. It’s main ingredient is Argan Oil, which is native to Morocco, and is often called liquid gold by the natives because of its price. It is used for many reasons in North Africa ranging from cosmetic to medical. The people in Moroccan Oil realised that they where on to a good thing and they started making the range that is hugely successful worldwide now. My favourite products in the range are the volume shampoo and conditioner, they have the magical Argan oil inside but also have ingredients that make your hair big and bouncy! All of their products are sulfates, phosphates and parabens free, so they won’t dry, fade or strip hair of colour. Costs from €15.00.

The original Moroccan Oil can be a little heavy in some hairs so I tent to buy the light version, which suits most people’s hair, except of you have really thick hair. The old is available in stockists nationwide and costs €35.00 and it will last ages!

  1. I can never understand people spending a fortune on getting their hair highlighted and then using crappy shampoos and conditioners! It makes an enormous difference to your hair to use good products. Always Kerastase or Redken for me, and Fekkai if I’m feeling spendy!
