Kerry Washington looked effortlessly chic at the Golden Globes on Sunday. Her makeup was flawless, having some drama around the eyes but not with black tones. Her makeup artist, Carola Gonzalez used purple and brown tones as the dark shade which really made Kerry’s eyes look amazingly chocolatey. Even the liner used was a grey colour so there was no harsh black eye makeup.
Kerry’s perfect skin was thanks to Lancôme’s Teint Idole 24H. This foundation has a really nice texture and lasts and lasts. Then a blush was added from the new In Love Collection. This splash of colour was added to the apple of her cheeks and brushed up towards the hair line to lift and widen her face, costs €39.00.
For the eyes start with the brown colour on the lower part of your lid and blend upwards towards your brow bone. Then add the purple onto of the eye lid and blend, but not as high as you blended the brown. Also bring the purple shade right into the inner corner of your eye and also put some on the inner part of your under eyes, always blend really well. Then use the liquid liner to enhance your lash line, keep the liner as close to your lash line as possible. If you find it hard to get a liquid line straight you could try putting ‘dots’ of the liner at intermittent intervals along your lash line and then just join the dots, simple!
