AERIN

Have you tried AERIN products from Estee Lauder yet? Aerin Lauder is the grandchild of Estee Lauder and has brought us this capsule collection of makeup that brings you from desk to disco all from one pallet. She believes that beauty should be effortless, stylish and easy, a woman after my own heart! Even though you have to balance work, family and home your makeup routine should not make your life more difficult. With this in mind AERIN has taken the hassle out of makeup shopping and given you the perfect capsule collection. The brand’s mission is help women who have a busy life look natural, refreshed and on trend. The brand has made it super easy for you to shop for your makeup (although I’m sure you never find it hard to spend money on makeup!). All of the products in the AERIN range have a soft Rose scent to them, even the powdered products. It is a really light scent not overpowering at all and really refreshing. Having a floral scent is not enough for the brand as Aerin believes flowers can be inspirational, make you smile and make your senses come alive so she has included a special floral infusion, such as Magnolia Flower, Peony, Pink Rose and Meadow Foam Extracts, to help leave skin looking calm and radiant. There are two collections in the brand. The first is the Essentials Collection which has all of your basic needs and then the Colour Collection which is seasonal and has already interpreted the trends for you and gives you the most wearable and hate to say the word practical colours for the season.

The packaging of AERIN is beautiful! The compacts are gold and have a beautifully textured lid, which reminds me of expensive linen. All of the products come in a soft pink suede(ish) pouch which feels great.

Spring 2013 Style Palette_ A Garden at Bloom

The spring collection from AERIN pictured above is really fab. I love the eye shadow shades, really simple yet really buildable.

The foundation is mega, makes your skin look and feel amazing. The ultra-smooth texture provides perfect coverage exactly where you need it but does not look heavy. Costs €48.00. There is a lip conditioner which has the perfect nude shade which you can use on its own or on top of your lipstick for added moisture. Costs €27.50. I am not a huge fan of bronzer, as I am sure you know by now! But their bronzer has managed to find a permanent home in my kit, it is really sheer and has the perfect sheen to it, really makes skin look incredibly healthy, not orange as a lot of bronzers do. Costs €42.50 and is exclusive to Brown Thomas Grafton Street. I did let one of bronzers fall last week and it cracked into a million beautiful pieces so be careful not to let it fall and do keep it in its pretty little pouch!
