Estée Lauder, Bronze Goddess

Bronze Goddess 2013 Collection

The summer collection from Estée Lauder is on counter this month. I was lucky enough to get a preview a few weeks ago. There are lots of great products in the collection, but I am in love with a couple of them.

Pure Color Illuminating Powder Gelée in Heat Wave

As always with me when I see a new highlighter for your skin I get very excited, and unfortunatly most of the time I am disappointed by the finish that you get. A lot of the brands think that glitter is needed to highlight the skin, wrong! The Pure Colour Illuminating Powder Gelée in Heat Wave is the perfect texture and is the most beautiful golden colour. The shade is perfect for giving your skin a golden sheen, wonderful for the summer months. Estée have used the same technology that they use in the Pure Colour Gelée eyeshadows which was a first on the market combining gel, powder and liquid all in one product. So the texture is unique to Estée Lauder products. The reason that I love it is because it almost feels like your applying a cooling product to your skin. It comes with a sponge applicator, which is great but I have been applying it with a stipple brush which gives a great finish. Available on all Estée Lauder counters from this month and will cost €39.00. It is limited edition so if you fancy it I’d get in quick!!

Bronze Goddess Luminous Liquid Bronzer

The Luminous Liquid Bronzer is an aluminising formula which blends bronzing pigments perfectly with a pearlised and reflective base which is perfect for a sheer natural-looking radiance. I have been blending this with my fingers but you could use a brush if you would prefer that. It will cost €39.00 and is available on all Estée Lauder counters.

Bronze Goddess 2013 Collection

The eye pallet within the collection is great for summer. All of the colours are very wearable even the beautiful green if you use it the right way. When you see strong colours like this don’t panic. They can be used in the smallest area of the eyelid just to add a little drama. All of the other colours are great, I really love the almost orange peach colour, looks amazing with blue and green eyes! The Pure Colour Gelée Powder eyeshadow pallet in Batik will cost €46.50.
