Sometimes I see products that make me think ‘I wish men could use that’. Those are the words that came to my mind when I saw the new Summer Collection from Essie. There are six shades in the collection, which all have great names inspired by nautical themes. My favourite from the collection is Sunday Funday which is a bright tangerine coral with a soft shimmer, I love coral polishes on Irish skin it really warms up our normally pale skin. I used this shade on on my Mum and it made her hands look really elegant without looking too flashy. I only needed to apply one coat and they lasted far longer than most other nail polishes on her nails.

There are two green shades, Naughty Nautical is a cool toned blue green teal colour which also has a soft shimmer to it, this colour looks great on all skin tones but I think it would look best on warmer skin tones. The More the Merrier is a fantastic lime green, bright and bold and perfect for summer!

Full Stream Ahead is a pearlescent medium toned lilac, I have tried this using a very light layer and it gives a beautifully soft flash of colour, apply a second layer and the colour really packs a punch.

The Girls are Out is a subtly sparkling soft fuchsia and my second favourite in the colection is Rock The Boat, thus is a magic blue colour, the perfect mix of periwinkle blue, French blue and shimmer it makes you think of the seaside when you see it on your nails! (I had it on for a few hours).<
