Advanced Night Repair II from Estée Lauder

Clients|Estee Lauder

It seems that this season is the age of the serum, all major brands have new offerings for us. Estée Lauder, who first launched the serum over 30 years ago, have improved the formula of Advanced Night Repair. Estée Lauder was among the first to understand that your skin rejuvenates at nighttime repairing the damage of the day. They have revolutionised the nighttime repair category once again with the new Advanced Night Repair II. They have done extensive research into cellular activity in skin and for the first time the formula supports this natural nighttime purification process vital to younger-looking skin. The new magic technology promises to dramatically reduce the look of every key visible sign of ageing for a significantly younger looking skin. The people at Estée Lauder are protecting this serums ingredients by having over 25 patents and patents-pending. It has been tested and proven for every ethnicity.

One of the key ingredients in the serum is Hyaluronic Acid, which I wrote about last week, this is not a new addition to the serum, it has been part of the serum since its conception over 30 years ago, amazing that even in the early 80’s Estée Lauder were ahead of the pack when it came to anti-ageing skin science.

I know that it says night repair on the bottle, but, I find that mixing the smallest amount of the serum with your foundation gives your skin the perfect texture. Also always apply the serum onto the back of your hand before applying to your face, this will help reduce/slow down the appearance of the dreaded age spots!

It is available in two sizes, 30ml and 50ml and costs €54.00 and €80.00 respectively. I think that this is great value most of the other serums start at about €70.00. This is a great all-rounder anti-ageing product and is suitable for anyone concerned about the ageing process.

  1. I tried this when I got a few samples during their free-gift promotion and just didn’t get on with it, found it too heavy. Will check back in a few years.

Always love your tip about mixing serums with foundation, especially Cicaplast.

  2. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and like it. The only thing I don’t like is the smell – quite medicinal but if it does the job! I changed from the Lancome serum which I also liked.
