Last Wednesday I worked on Umit Kutluk’s first solo fashion show in his beautiful studio/salon in Merrion Square. The clothes are beautiful, amazing quality fabrics and the construction is sublime.
The show was styled by über stylist Catherine Condell, so of course it was a beautifully stylish affair. Michael Leong did the hair which made all the girls look like they were 1930’s movie stars.
For the skin I used Tom Ford’s Traceless Foundation and set that with Chanel’s Universal Powder. I contoured the girls face using Tom Ford’s Shade and Illuminate, which I also used to highlight the cheekbones and Cupid’s bow. On their eyes I used a brown eye pencil from Tom Ford, I applied a liberal amount along the lash line which I then blended in and then applied some of the contouring product to the lid to give the eye a glossy oily look, which I thought was beautiful. For the lips I used of Wild Ginger and Scarlet Rouge both from Tom Ford. I enhanced their brows using Tom Ford’s perfect brow pencil.
