Invisible Fluid Makeup

It’s rare that I try different foundations, since I started doing makeup about 800 years ago I have always used Face and Body from MAC. On a recent makeup shopping trip I decided to buy Estée Lauder’s Invisible Fluid Makeup. And can I tell you I think it’s perfect, it gives you great face! And the texture is so light that it looks like you have nothing on, yet as the product has buildable coverage all of your imperfections are covered.

“Foundation has come a long way over the years, but there were still many dissatisfied women,” said Anne Carullo, Senior Vice President, Corporate Product Innovation, Estée Lauder. “The reason lies in skin undertones. Undertones are what give our skin its unique colour and dimension. Invisible Fluid Makeup is a true innovation because it delivers a veil of visible invisibility to every skintone, working with each person’s natural undertones for the ultimate shade match. Acting like a weave on skin, the formula allows skin’s undertones to come through, giving the appearance of natural skin, but in a way that is radiantly, naturally and uniquely perfected.”

It comes in 16 shades so is good for all ethnic origins. Tom Pecheux,  Estée Lauder’s Creative Makeup Director and one of my idols has used it at New York Fashion week and he loves it!

“I used Invisible Fluid Makeup backstage during the Spring 2012 New York shows because it is a lighter foundation that lets the natural glow of skin show through and can be layered for buildable coverage,” said Tom Pecheux, Estée Lauder Creative Makeup Director. “Working with so many models with different ethnicities and skintones, the shade range is amazing!”

The foundation is long-wearing and is oil-free, alcohol-free and infused with skin-loving minerals. Hyaluronic Acid helps to provide all day hydration, so skin feels soothed, balanced and comfortable throughout the day without any caking or settling.

For best results, shake well for freshest makeup. Apply on clean skin, over moisturiser. Use finger tips to blend the foundation, working from the centre of the face outwards. Build to desired coverage level.
