Golden Globes Beauty, Ruth Wilson

Last year I got to work with Ruth for two days while she was here promoting a movie. She’s just lovely, amazingly warm and friendly. What I really loved about her that she was open to listening to my ideas of what would work. Sometimes people just want what they want even though you know it’s not going to look as good as what you would like to do. But that’s the job! The clients is almost always right!!

Brigitte Reiss-Andersen was Ruth’s makeup artist for the Globes. She used Giorgio Armani Maestro Eraser in #3, same as what I used but I used a different colour, to conceal anything that needed to be concealed and then used Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in #5. For the blush she used Giorgio Armani Cheek Fabric blush in #503 which is a perfect matte textured blush that blends beautifully. On Ruthe eyes Brigitte used Giorgio Armani Smooth Silk Eye Pencil in #7, Giorgio Armani Eye Tint in #4, Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Intense in #5 and Giorgio Armani Black Ecstasy Mascara. For Ruth’s lips Giorgio Armani Rouge d’Armani lipstick in #502 was used. These lippy’s are perfect the colour payoff is incredible but what’s really magical about them is that you do not need to use a liner with them. They have created a formula that does not travel off your lips, mega!!

I’m also mad about Ruth’s dress from Prada, so different to most of what we saw on the red carpet, certainly there was a whole lot less skin showing, she’s a very classy bird!
