Vinylux Spring Collection

Have you tried Vinylux yet? It like a hybrid of nail polish and Shellac. The best thing about it is that it’s an at home job, no need to get into salon. A lot of my friends have tried it out and those girls are not easy of their nails, having a beautiful manicure one day and the next the finest Irish Manicure (Irish Manicure = chipped and in need of doing!), but with using Vinylux the polish lasts up to ten days. And actually really does last for that long, there must be some form of nail voodoo in them pots! The one downside is that it takes 8.5 mins for the topcoat to dry and try do it during the day as natural light makes the topcoat stronger and as the week continues the top coat gets stronger once it gets to be in daylight. See there is voodoo. I have used the topcoat on other brands of nail polish and it works a treat, it does work best with other Vinylux products but I’d give it a shot of you have your favourite nail colour already!

For spring CND, the creators of both Vinylux and Shellac are bringing us on a spring retreat with the Flora and Fauna collection. Inspired by watercolour masterpieces of luminous landscapes.

“This season’s trends are all about unplugging from today’s digital world and embracing the simpler things. Sun-bleached tones and dreamy watercolour paintings emerge from the perfection of nature,” says Co-founder of Sweet Squared Samantha Sweet. “Nails are easy and softly squared – as wearable and simple as a barefoot stroll through the grass while finishes play with matte and shiny effects.” I got to meet Samantha last year and she was quite possibly one of my favourite people of 2014! She fabulous and had an AMAZING fur bag!

Colours include Dandelion, Fragrant Freesia, Thistle Thicket, Salmon Run, Blush Teddy, Wild Moss, Creekside, Field Fox.
